I'm Luke Simpson, a software engineering leader with over 20 years of experience in delivering beautiful, functional and accessible web solutions. I'm passionate about building a positive and collaborative culture that enables engineering teams to thrive and do their best work.

What I Do

My current role is Tech Lead and Engineering Manager at Capital One. I lead the engineers on the Card Experience Team, delivering leading-edge user experiences on the marketing technology platform. If you visit any page under "Credit Cards" at Capital One's website, chances are our team built that page.

Our chief goal is simple but not easy: to educate and guide customers on their shopping journey to help them find the best products for their financial needs . We achieve this by building shopping tools and marketing components that designed for rapid optimization and experimentation via A/B/n testing. We are currently pursuing new ways to personalize the shopping experience and tailor it to each unique user.
